ABOUT US

Our story begins with failure but ends with sharing a dream

From a young age, my dream was to play professional football. At 13, I had the chance to trial for a Premier League academy in London. The excitement of achieving my dream was within reach. However, during the trials, I was told I wasn't strong enough. I remember that rejection like it was yesterday.

Determined to overcome this, I began training alone. With no guidance in nutrition, psychology or strength and conditioning, I turned to protein shakes, despite skipping breakfast and avoiding nutritious foods. I trained like a bodybuilder, not an athlete. Neglecting leg day, balance and speed, I suffered from constant growing pains due to training improperly. My external physio couldn’t offer consistent support as they lacked a relationship with my football club and family. I didn’t know how to train my mind to focus and handle the pressure. It was all so messy.

I didn’t realise these mistakes until it was too late.

I soon realised my struggle was not unique—many young people face similar challenges without the support they need. This inspired me to create an academy service accessible to everyone, providing the guidance I lacked. I wanted to ensure no young person would feel as lost as I did, to help them enjoy the process of unlocking their true potential.

In 2019, HealthKix was born. Today, our team of 9 expert health professionals provide a 'one-stop-health-shop' for young people aged 8-21. Our evidence-based online support ensures fun and accessible guidance, no matter where they are. We’ve expanded globally, delivering services across Africa, Australia, Europe, and America. We support countless young trainees in their sport and daily lives by offering comprehensive guidance in health and performance.

The lesson from my journey is clear: with the right support, every young person can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams. Whether aspiring to be the next Olympian or simply striving to lead a healthier life and reach the school netball team, it’s not just about physical training; it’s about holistic development—mental resilience, proper nutrition and strategic conditioning.

#HEALTHKIXTRAINING equips young people with the tools and support to thrive. While I didn’t achieve my dream, we ensure no young person faces the challenges I did without the support they need to reach theirs.
